From the welcome screen, tap Get Started (or I already have an account) to reach the sign-in screen. You can sign in or sign up with your email and a password, Continue with Google, or Continue with Apple. New email accounts confirm the address with a 6-digit code (or the link in the same email).

Your password must be at least 8 characters and include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number. The same rules apply whenever you set or change a password later.

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?, enter your email, and tap Send link. Opening the emailed link on your phone takes you to a Set a new password screen. If your account uses Google/Apple sign-in, just use that option instead.

Yes. Go to Profile → Settings → Account and tap Set a password. You can then sign in either way.

Go to Profile → Settings → Account and tap Change password. Enter your current password, then choose and confirm a new one.

Go to Profile → Settings → Account Safety and tap Sign out. Signing out only logs you off on that device; your account and data stay safe.

Go to Profile → Settings → Account Safety → Delete account and type DELETE to confirm. This permanently removes your account, reflections, chat history, settings, and progress, and it cannot be undone. See our Delete Account page for details.

Yes — the annual plan comes with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, so you can try everything Premium offers before paying anything. The monthly plan is a direct purchase with no trial. Cancel anytime before the trial ends at no cost.

Every core feature stays free forever — the daily devotional, Bible reading, reflections, morning and evening letters, the home-screen widget, and three blessings a week. Nothing is locked behind a streak. Premium adds more Divine Guide messages, the "Explain this Scripture" tool, all reading plans, weekly AI summaries, blessings without the weekly cap, and longer saved history.

Billing is handled entirely through Google Play on Android. After your 7-day trial ends, Google Play charges the annual plan and renews automatically until you cancel. The monthly plan is charged straight away, with no trial.

Cancel through the Google Play subscriptions screen: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Divine Breath → Cancel.

Open the upgrade screen and tap Restore in the top corner to re-check your purchase with the store.

Divine Breath does not run its own AI models. Text you submit is sent to DeepSeek, with OpenAI as a backup, only to generate a response — never with your name, email, or account ID. The weekly reflection summary is the one feature that sends your reflection text, and only when you ask for it. Crisis language triggers safety resources instead of an AI request, and limited safety logging. The AI never acts as a therapist. Section 6 of the Privacy Policy lists exactly what each feature sends.

Google Play usually updates apps for you, but it often waits for Wi-Fi and charging, so a new version can take a few days to reach your phone. To update sooner, open the Divine Breath page in the Play Store app and tap Update.

Yes — two, in fact. Profile → Settings → Daily Rhythm has a Morning letter and an Evening letter, each with its own switch and time. A letter carries the day's verse and your first name, arrives with one soft chime, and its Open today's verse button takes you straight to the verse. On a day you have already finished, the evening letter simply says goodnight. If you miss a few days, a quiet letter keeps your lamp lit — never a guilt trip, and never more than two notifications a day.

First make sure notifications are allowed for Divine Breath in your phone's own Settings and that the Daily letters channel isn't muted. Then tap Letters not arriving? under Daily Rhythm: on some phones (Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Samsung power saving) it opens the autostart or battery page where Divine Breath must be allowed to run in the background.

Long-press an empty spot on your Android home screen, choose Widgets, find Divine Breath and drag Dawn Verse where you like. It shows the day's verse with a small ember and updates after you open the app each day; tapping it opens the verse.

A way to pray for someone in one tap. From Profile → Send a blessing (or the Thursday step on Today), write their name, choose what they are walking through — anxious, lonely, weary, grieving, ashamed, angry, empty, grateful or simply general — add an optional line, and share. The app makes a card with the Aaronic blessing from Numbers 6:24–26 (World English Bible) and their name on it.

The card is a plain image, so it goes through any messaging app. It carries a link to divinebreath.app/blessing, a quiet page with the same blessing and, if they want it, a way to get the verse for themselves.

Yes — three blessings a week on the free plan, no weekly cap with Premium. When the week's three are used, the app just says so; there is no countdown and nothing to chase.

No. The blessing is the World English Bible text exactly as printed, and the only thing added is the name and line you wrote.
