Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Divine Breath account and personal data at any time. This page explains how, and exactly what is removed.

Option 1

Delete inside the app (fastest)

Open Divine Breath and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings.
Scroll to the Danger Zone and tap Delete account.
Confirm. Your account and associated data are deleted immediately.

You can also export your data from the same Settings screen before deleting.

Option 2

Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email support@divinebreath.app from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify ownership and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What data is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

Your account and profile (email, name, denomination and onboarding preferences)
Your private reflections (encrypted journal entries)
Your Divine Guide chat history
Bible bookmarks, highlights, notes and reading progress
App settings, reminders and notification tokens

What may be retained, and for how long

Your data is never sold, and the app shows no ads. We do use your device's advertising ID with our measurement provider AppsFlyer, so we can tell which of our own ads led to an install; you can reset or delete that ID in your Android settings. Section 5 of the Privacy Policy covers this in full.
