On the first screen of the app, and on the first step of our website's start page, tapping Continue means that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. It also means that you agree to the following, so that the app does not have to ask you again:
If you do not agree, do not use the app. You can withdraw by deleting your account in Settings or by writing to support@divinebreath.app.
Divine Breath provides Christian devotional, Bible, reflection, prayer, reminder, and spiritual chat features for personal use. The app does not replace professional medical, mental health, crisis, legal, financial, emergency, or pastoral care.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account. You may request data export or account deletion from Settings, or on our Delete Account page at divinebreath.app/delete-account.
You can use part of the app without an account. Your progress then belongs to this installation, and you can move it to an account when you sign in. We may delete an account-less profile that has not been used for 90 days, and uninstalling the app without a return key can leave you without access to it.
Premium subscriptions are purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, renewal period, trials, cancellation, refunds, and billing management are handled by the applicable store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal deadline shown by the store. Before you buy, the app shows the price, the renewal amount and period, any trial, and where to cancel, and it uses the store's own prices.
We may give you Premium for a short time, such as the two-day gift. A gift needs no card, is given once to an installation, does not renew, and ends on the end time shown in the app. A discounted first-year price, where we offer one, is a store offer with its own terms, shown before you buy.
Fair use of the Guide. With a Premium subscription, or a month of Premium unlocked with Breath Credits, you can ask the Guide as many questions as you need for ordinary personal use. To keep the service fair for everyone and to stop automated use, we may pause an account that sends more than 30 questions in a minute, 60 in an hour or 120 in a day; when that happens the app tells you how long to wait. Premium given for a short time, such as the two-day gift, keeps the free daily questions.
You may not misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, upload unlawful content, impersonate others, violate intellectual property rights, or use the app to harm yourself or others.
You are responsible for content you submit, including reflections, chat messages, notes, and optional profile images. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use. Bible text in the app comes from the World English Bible, the King James Version, the Berean Standard Bible and Reina-Valera 1909, which are in the public domain, and from Biblica® Open Nueva Biblia Viva™ (Copyright © 2006, 2008 by Biblica, Inc.) and Biblica® Open Nova Bíblia Viva™ (Copyright © 2007, 2010 by Biblica, Inc.), which are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA, https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0). Biblica, Inc. does not necessarily endorse the changes we list in Settings, Bible translations, where every license and source is shown in full.
These Community terms are part of these Terms. Be kind, with no harassment, hate, threats, or bullying; keep it clean, with no sexual content and nothing that exploits or endangers children; no scams, ads, links, or requests for money; and respect privacy by not sharing other people's personal details. Anyone can report or block from any post, message, or profile. A person on our team reads reports every day and can remove content or suspend accounts. We tell you the reason when we remove your content. Other readers can share your prayer request by link, with its title and its text. If a post mentions suicide or self-harm, you see help lines. Our AI partner reads what you write in Community to check it against these rules and writes the prayer for a prayer request; a prayer written by AI is marked "Written by AI". Community is not a place to get emergency help, and our team does not watch it in real time. For questions or reports, write to support@divinebreath.app.
One-time items (Guide question packs, Breath Credits, streak freezes, and streak repairs) are bought through Google Play, and the store handles payment, refunds, and billing. Breath Credits are virtual credits with no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. Credits can unlock a Bible-study series or a month of Premium, and a pack of Guide questions can be used only for the number of days shown before you buy. We may change what credits can buy.
Devotional and AI-assisted content is provided for reflection and encouragement. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation. Use personal judgment and seek qualified help when needed.
If you write about what you carry when you set up the app, our AI partner uses your words, with the topics you pick, how long you have carried it, your age group and your gender, to name your plan and its seven days, to sum up its week in one sentence, and to write the opening and prayer of its first day. If you write a morning note and your plan lets it shape tomorrow, our AI partner reads it to rewrite the next day of your plan. The Guide receives your age group and gender with your messages, so that its answers fit you. You can report an AI-written plan from the plan screen and an AI answer from the answer. The Bible text in a plan always comes from our Bible database, never from the AI.
We may suspend or terminate access if an account violates these Terms, creates security risk, or is used unlawfully.
